Figured we might as well do something while the account was just stagnating here.

Well, long story short, the comic's purpose is essentially to give us (the artists) an outlet to experiment in comic-making, as well as to hopefully provide a story for DA as well. So far, we've been partially successful - we seem to have a nice group of people enjoying our stuff. However, lately we as the artists have been a bit unsatisfied with our work. Since this is an outlet for us to improve our story-telling ability, as we both have other comics we'd like to start in addition, we are going to ask for your feedback and critique.

By this, we are emphasizing the critique. While, of course, we appreciate your support, a comment that says "your comic is great" doesn't exactly help us improve. What we're looking for is your unbiased input - what you've seen that annoys you, what doesn't make sense, how to improve upon that, suggestions for flow, etc. Don't be afraid of hurting our feelings. We WANT to see where our readers find us lacking.

As of now, I think most of the major complaints are on three areas - lack of consistency, confusing plot, and Tikiya's design. To address these in turn: the consistency issue was brought about due the fact that when we started, we were basically just going HURR COMIC and didn't make a set style. We're happiest with the one we have now, so when we redo the beginning (either the first 12 pages or all the ones at this point) consistency will not be an issue. Confusing plot is, again, our own fault based on lack of foresight. It gets more and more solid every day, so again with a redone beginning that should be eliminated. As for Tikiya's design, it's still in discussion. While we like her design, it does stick out when compared to the drab colors of the other characters. However as her colors are her trademark, we're treading a fine line between keeping the character recognizable and letting her feel more natural.

That being said, please feel free to comment with ideas for more flow, specifics you liked/didn't like, general things you liked/didn't like, what you find generic, what you think should be added, etc. While not all of them will be implemented, we very much appreciate any and all feedback you can give us.
