I feel like this is moving slowly? I am not one to tell you how you should pace your comic, but it looks like nothing is really happening for a bunch of pages. It's like filler. Or are the characters just slow anyway?

It's not really intended to be a super fast-paced comic, to be honest. We're trying to take our time and pay attention to detail, especially in the beginning pages, to make sure the characters have plenty of time to show through. For instance, this page - Darsh's blindness becomes pretty important later on in the story. We haven't ever made a page that does not give to the story, current or later.

Think of it as a novel, for example. You wouldn't be expecting more than hints at the plot just 30 pages in, no?

I'm not trying to be all NO U or anything, ftr x3 Just explaining
